UNITED STATES/CANADA. November 8, 2021. Let Us Reunite, a volunteer-led campaign representing over 3,000 families, has issued the following statement regarding the reopening of discretionary travel via the US land border for those who have proof of vaccination.
“After more than 19 months of struggle and separation by thousands of cross-border families, the US Government has finally opened the land border to vaccinated Canadians.
We would like to thank Members of Congress and their staff who spent many months fighting for the reunification of bi-national families, including Rep. Brian Higgins (NY-26), Senator Susan Collins (ME), Rep. Susan Delbene (WA-1), Senator Maggie Hassan (NH), Rep. Bill Huizenga (MI-2), Rep. Chris Jacobs (NY-27), Rep.
